Have you heard of the Needs-focused approach to teaching?

If you want to make your lessons more interactive, more cooperative, more engaging and more FUN then you must read this…

The principle behind the needs-focused approach to teaching is that there are three main psychological needs that are each incredible motivators. As humans we MUST have these needs satisfied in our lives.

What does this have to do with teaching?

Everything…

If teachers don’t provide an appropriate way for our students to meet these needs, they will seek alternative ways to satisfy them – often to the detriment of the lesson.

For example, one of these needs is fun. Yes, that’s right…humans need to have fun and if we don’t provide this need for our students then our students will go about finding their own fun such as talking out in class, writing notes to friends, texting, getting out of their sit, throwing things around the room etc. I’m sure you’ve seen it all before.

Therefore, you must create lessons that are truly engaging and fun for your students to prevent these types of classroom management problems from occurring.

However, that is only part of the answer.

We all know that you can spend a huge amount of time creating all sorts of fantastic lessons designed to be “fun” and still have classroom management problems or just have students that are simply not engaged.

That is because you are missing two other vital pieces of the puzzle…

As well as providing “fun” in your lessons, you must also design your lessons to meet the students’ need to:

1) Belong

2) Feel empowered

Fortunately, there are certain activities you can include in your lessons that meet all three needs…and my buddy Rob Plevin has put together a truly amazing package that will show you how to do just that…

If this “needs-focused” approach makes sense to you (and it should) then you need to check out Rob’s new program he calls Needs-Focused Lessons.

However, you need to do it now because he is currently letting people in for just $1…yes, you read that right…for only $1 you can try out Rob Plevin’s Needs-Focused Lessons athttp://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?Clk=3728832

I seriously wouldn’t wait on this…Rob told me himself that he is limiting this offer to only a small number of people so if you miss out you’re going to kick yourself…

If you want to start seeing an drastic improvement in classroom management AND student achievement then head over to Rob’s site right now: http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?Clk=3728832

For those that are not aware about do follow backlinks then let me explain a little.

In the world of Search engine optimisation we all know that backlinks are the key to improving your SERPS (search engine result pages) So if you want to rank higher on the search engines then you will want to concentrate on building your backlinks. In the past it was alot easier as you could go to any blog or forum and paste your backlink on there. The problem about this was that all the SEO agents would go to any blog or forum and start pasting links after links. The Search Engines didnt like this and it was very hard for them to know who to give credit to.

So the search engines teamed up with blog providers such as wordpress and other blogging platforms with a resolution to this spamming process. They introduced something known as NO FOLLOW links. No follow links are created the same way as backlinks however the website that you will add your link to will automatically generate a special code before the link which will stop the search engine spiders from crawling the link. So in actual fact its as if the link did not exist as far as the search engines were concerned. Or better still the search engines would still crawl the links but will not give the link any credit so it will not act like link juice.

A dofollow link is the opposite to a no follow link. So as normal you will paste your link on a blog or forum and the link will get followed with the credit going to the website – so in other words this will act like link juice.

How to tell a no follow from a do follow link

To spot a no follow link you will need to look into the source of the webpage. Look for links that have the ‘ rel=”nofollow” atribute before them. This shows you that the website is following the no follow rule so if you was to paste a link onto this site then the link will not act like link juice.

The way I do this myself is by using a firefox plugin – The plugins name is NoDoFollow – its a great plugin that saves me much time. All you need to do is go onto any webpage and right click anywehere on the page. Your menu box will appear and it will have an option to click NoDoFollow. Once it has been clicked then all of the links on the page will get color coded. If the links are colored red then that means the webpage is using the rel=”nofollow” atribute but if the links appear grey then all links are do follow.

Should we still post on no follow pages?

Posting on no follow sites can still give you much trafic from the site. I mean if you had a blog about DVD films for example and you went to a well used blog or forum which was using no follow links then its still worth your while pasting a link on the forum. Obviously try not to act spammy or your link will get removed. The reason its a good idea to do this is because your link will still be visable to all of the users using the site. So you will have the posibility to get traffic from this site.

Another reason its still good to paste links on no follow sites is because not all search engines act the same way as google. I have personally seen a massive increase in my serps when I used no follow links. This tells us that no follow links still have some value in the SEO world. However all of the links that I had which were no follow were from relevent sites – I also believe this had a big part to pay.

What should we concentrate most on No follow or Do Follow links?

Its without a doubt that myself and any other SEO agent would tell you to concentrate on Do follow links the most. The reason behind this is because you will get credit for the link by every search engine. The do follow links will deffinatly help you increase your SERPS where as No Follow links will more or less not help – Please note that no follow links can also help but more experiments are still needed to be taken in order to give an acurate answer.

Do follow links act like what we call link juice – the more link juice you have the better chance you will have to increase in the SERPS.

How can we find Do Follow Links?

You can find do follow links by searching through do follow blog directories – these can be found in any search engine – just type in do follow directory or something and you will get lists of directories which show do follow blogs – please note that many of the listings in these directories will need to be checked on a indivifual bases as some webmasters who use the rel=”nofollow” atribute still submit their sites to these directories – Yes I know this is very annoying -

Another way would be to just check every website you land on with the firefox extension NoDoFollow plugin

I have a list of over 300 or so do follow sites that range from a page rank 3 to page rank 9. all of these websites give free do follow links. I supply this list in my ebook and also sell the list seperatly. If you are interested then please contact us – we also build links for our clients so please feel free to enquire.

A new study has revealed the connection between use of smoking marijuana and cancer aggravation. This study has shown that using marijuana in a long-term period ameliorates the risk of developing testicular cancer. The researches of the said study on the connection between use of smoking marijuana and cancer has stated that men who used marijuana even once a week or those who began using the drug while in their adolescence resulted to doubling the risk for aggressive testicular cancer. The nonseminoma type of testicular cancer has been determined to elucidate around forty percent of these cancer cases. According to an epidemiologist and member of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and co-author of the study, Janet Daling, the increase of the incidence of testicular cancer has been known in the United States and Europe for the last 40 years. At the same time, the incidence of marijuana use has risen. Thus, according to Daling, it seemed apt to assume the association between smoking marijuana and cancer. Furthermore, Daling claimed that as they analyzed the data on the study, they found out that no evident relationship exists between smoking marijuana and cancer, specifically testicular cancer. According to the United States National Cancer Institute, testicular cancer accounts for just a percent of cancers particularly among men since this type is very rare. Nonetheless, testicular cancer has been the most common type of cancer among American men between the ages 15 and 34. The rate of testicular cancer has increased from 3% to 6% in the past half century in different countries including New Zealand, North America, Australia, and Europe. This increase has prompted some researchers in suggesting that the escalation might be associated with marijuana as its exposure and use among adolescents has increased. As such, the researches has emphasized that the association between smoking marijuana and cancer could be evident in the testes as well as the spleen, brain, uterus, and heart. The testes organ consists of specific receptors for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the primary psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. In the past, some human and animal researches have demonstrated that the use of marijuana could lead to impotency, reduced hormonal production, and poorer semen quality in men. Consequently, Daling and the rest of her team has explored on the association between smoking marijuana and cancer through analyzing information collected by the Adult Testicular Cancer Lifestyle and Blood Specimen Study from 369 testicular cancer patients. Based on the results from the participants between the ages of 18 and 44 diagnosed with testicular cancer and users of marijuana between 1999 and 2006, there is an association between smoking marijuana and cancer as a 70% increased risk was found in them. The nonseminoma risk was high particularly among participants who used marijuana at least once a week. It was also high among participants who started using the drug prior to reaching the age of 18. Daling has emphasized, however, that the results of their study are only preliminary although it should be given appropriate attention.

Editorial cartoons are the best measure of a country’s freedom; cartoonists are barred from drawing their leaders in many countries around the world.Lawsuits from insulted politicians like Fico are typical in authoritarian regimes that claim to have a free press but can’t bear criticism. The government in Algeria claims to have a free press while officials often sue editorial cartoonists in civil court –- a common practice in Arab countries. It is disappointing to see third world style repression in an EU country like Slovakia, which should have higher standards.

Eliza Young, a spokesperson for Freedom House, an NGO that monitors press freedom around the world said, “The case against Martin ‘Shooty’ Sutovec is one of many inappropriate cases that have been brought against the Slovak media in the past year and represents a wider trend of intimidation of the press by political elites. Not only has the prime minister filed several lawsuits, but the Chairman of the Supreme Court has harassed publishers and a radio station, demanding out-of-court settlements of up to €200,000 ($286,000).
In Sacramento, laminate counters are an excellent choice for homeowners who want a good-looking, no-nonsense counter at a reasonable price. Though they might not be as flashy as some other countertop options like quartz, granite, or marble, what laminate lacks in flamboyance it makes up ten fold in cost-effectiveness and overall performance. If you are considering a kitchen remodel in Sacramento, laminate counters are an option that will do more than just enhance looks. There are several different counter materials youýll be able to choose from, and each will have its good and bad points; by comparing laminate to materials like solid surface and natural stone, youýll have a better idea of what material is right for your situation.

Solid Surface vs. Laminate Counters in Sacramento
In many ways, solid surface counters and laminate counters have a lot in common. Their appearances are quite similar (though most homeowners would probably give solid surface a slight edge when it comes to looks). Both can be marred if you donýt use a cutting board; both can be burned if exposed to intense heat. Solid surface is a sturdier counter option, and it is designed to be extremely stain resistant. Laminate can be stained under certain circumstances; this is particularly true of lighter colored laminate counters. Sacramento homeowners with very specific tastes will find that both materials come in a wide variety of colors and styles.

Sacramento Laminate Countertops vs. Natural Stone Counters
Many might say that natural stone and laminate counters are at opposite ends of the spectrum: Natural stone is arguably the most highly prized counter material in the country for high end installations, while laminateýs affordability makes it more of the ýpeopleýs choice.ý When you do the research, however, there are several reasons other than price that might make laminate a more desirable option than natural stone. All stone counters are somewhat porous. Because of this, quartz, granite, and marble must be sealed (and then resealed regularly) to prevent stains. It is certainly possible to stain a laminate counter if you arenýt careful, however they never need to be sealed, which actually makes them a more low-maintenance material than stone. Additionally, when a stone counter is stained or damaged, the repair is often difficult (or even impossible) as well as costly. Laminate counters, though more susceptible to damage than stone, are generally a lot cheaper and easier to repair and replace. Though stone might last longer and be stronger than laminate counters, Sacramento homeowners who donýt have the time to worry about upkeep (or who donýt want the expense of replacing or repairing stone) may find that laminate is a better option for their kitchens.

We all know that eating at fast food restaurants is terrible for our health. It makes us fat, lazy, bloated and sick. Just one cheeseburger will double your daily calorie requirement, and the salads, yogurts and diet sodas they sell are not really all that much healthier. They are the biggest reason for the obesity epidemic in America today, and there does not seem to be any way of making them disappear from our ever growing suburban landscapes.

If you are really serious about getting or staying in shape, fast food restaurants are not on your path to success. Sometimes, though, these restaurants may seem like the only option other than starvation. Long road trips, co-worker lunches, and other situations may force you into choosing between bad or worse. This can be devastating to anyone trying to lose weight or trying to change their bad eating habits to good.

Listed below are 7 tips that will help you make healthier choices if you are ever forced to eat fast food. It is inevitably going to happen in todays fast paced world. You might as well be prepared!

Fast Food Healthier Choice Tips #1: Get Less For Your Money
So-called value meals really only offer you extra calories, saturated fat, sugar, and other diet killers. The only way this could be beneficial is if you are saving up for bypass surgery. Getting twice as many fries for only 20 cents more is not a good deal. Fast food packs a lot of unhealthiness into a small package as it is, so super-sizing it is only adding fuel to the fire.

Think about it this way. Is 20 cents really worth eating an entire weeks worth of fat and calories in one sitting? Paying extra to ruin your health makes no sense. Ordering the small size may not be as cheap per pound of food, but it will save a fortune when working off pounds of fat later.

Fast Food Healthier Choice Tips #2: Discover Your Inner Child
Sadly, a reasonably sized portion for an adult is now only found on the children’s menu! Want to get healthy sides like fruit or carrots? Again, only on the childrens menu! It is great that kids are getting healthier options, but what about adults? We need good nutrition too! Don’t be ashamed to order the junior hamburger or even the kids’ meal. You are the only one who can control what you eat and how much of it.

Fast Food Healthier Choice Tips #3: No All Salads Are Created Equal
Just because it has lettuce does not mean it is healthy. A Big Mac has lettuce, and you know it would not be any healthier if it was called a Big Mac Salad. Don’t be fooled by clever naming tricks. Use common sense when selecting a salad, and make sure all the ingredients are vegetables, fruits, and lean proteins you recognize. Also, do not go through all that effort just to drown your healthy meal in a pool of fatty dressing! Ask for vinaigrette.

Fast Food Healthier Choice Tips #4: Have It Your Way
Most restaurants honor your requests if you ask them. Hold the mayo and high-corn-syrup ketchup, and ask for more pickles, tomatoes and lettuce. Substitute the breaded chicken breast for the grilled chicken breast. Ask for extra vegetables. Ask for wheat buns instead of white. And by all means, hold the cheese! Most of the time you can not savor the flavor when it is packed into a sandwich anyway.

Fast Food Healthier Choice Tips #5: You Are What You Drink
The most profitable menu items for restaurants are soft drinks. Costing almost nothing to make, they want you to get as big a size as possible and pay for it. What you’ll get is tons of sugar and chemicals. And maybe eventually, diabetes! Soda and diet soda will ruin your figure and your health. Order iced tea or water instead. If someone is holding a gun to your head and making you order a soda, get the small.

Of course the best advice I can give you is to make your own fast food at home in the form of a soy-based protein meal replacement. This is how I lost 70 pounds in 4 months and have kept it off for over 15 years. It usually takes me about 3 minutes to make, which is less time than it takes to wait in the drive-thru line at any McDonalds.

I rarely go to fast food restaurants anymore, but when I do I follow the tips listed above. Losing weight and keeping it off for good is about making healthy decisions about what you eat, no matter where you are eating.

Taking drugs is a serious offense, especially when in the line of duty that calls for serious, accurate and reliable action, in a consistent manner, on part of an employee. Not only are they risking their job, they may be involved in such work that risks their life and life and the safety of all around them and who work with them. Since employing individuals who take drugs is such a serious risk for organizations, employers prefer to take up drug testing as a means of preventing such people from working in their organization and thereby causing financial and other kinds of problem for them.Employee drug tests are not conducted to embarrass employees. Though some may argue that it is a personal choice to take or not take drugs, yet the fact remains that drug abuse is a serious problem that affects not only the person involved in it but also the people around him or her. The drug abuse problem has serious consequences as one person’s slip may harm a number of people who might be relying on that person for providing a particular service. Therefore, sooner drug abusers face up to their drug problem, the better for them, as they would have saved themselves that much sooner from getting into a degenerative life and existence. Drug testing is the first step in that direction.

About employee drug test

Employers subscribe employee drug tests in order to ensure that they hire not just competent people but people with the right habits and attitudes and ones who have a healthy mind in order to work efficiently. Most common form of employee drug testing is the pre employment drug test.In a pre employment drug test, the employer asks the prospective candidate to undergo their drug testing program, as part of normal employee hiring routines. The program may involve urine, blood or hair drug testing and the tested individual is hired only if the test results show up as negative. Another form of employee drug testing is random drug testing. In such testing, any employee in an organization can be called up at any time to take a drug test. Employers, who suspect a particular employee of doing drugs, can ask them to take up a reasonable suspicion drug test. The reasonable suspicion DOT drug test is an example of this form of testing.

Is employee drug testing unfair?

Yes, employee drug testing is completely fair an appropriate. People working in sensitive jobs and jobs which demand attention, alertness and high levels of efficiency and which involve the safety and security of others, should never be involved in substance abuse. Taking drugs alters brain functions and causes considerable physical illness. People doing drugs simply cannot work seriously. In order to rule out the possibility of hiring unreliable professionals, employer implement drug testing programs.

Data deduplication refers to the elimination of excessive and repetitive data. Deduplication causes a solo copy of a file to be retained. Although only one copy is saved the information of all the places that copy exists is kept. Deduplication is able to minimize the needed storage capacity since only a single document is stored. If a ten MG document gets downloaded by 10 people in a marketing department each employee’s computer then has the same document which accumulates to100 MG of storage needed. Having deduplication results in 10x decrease of storage space needed.

So what does data deduplication mean for your company? Removing the necessity for a huge degree of storage space will end in saving company profits. Past backup systems can reduce an IT budget quickly because of the need for a lot of equipment and storage area. With the new data dedupliction process, backups can now be done efficiently and precisely. Data deduplication is quickly becoming more than a buzz word by producing up to its limitations.

So how does data deduplication work? Encrypting the data allows it to be transferred over the Internet or a WAN efficiently. Because some of the new backup solutions use data deduplication to lessen the amount of data that needs to be stored, laptops not necessarily have to be bogged down during backup. Users can work on other tasks while the backup is being done due to the fact that they can define how much of the computer’s Central Processing Unit is being used.

The product is that by deduplication, recopied data are no longer stored. This ends up in a more effective use of storage area and timely backups. Before, backup programs usually backed up all the information, programs, emails and more from a computer including the duplicates created from each document. Saving 50 copies of the same document is a waste of storage area. Older backup systems just stored everything because they have no way of identifying whether a data has been stored or not. There was no way to eliminate the duplicate copies on old backup systems. Do you have an idea why IT specialists have to be concerned about this? They are going out of space because of the duplicate files. Utilizing a good backup software with deduplication will save important storage area. Through getting rid of the countless tools for the backup system, the effort can be used for other resources.
